We are performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely on the Loop Elevated.

How does this affect my trip?
Board/exit all Green and Orange line trains on the Ashland/63rd-Cottage Grove and Midway-bound side of the platform at the Roosevelt elevated station.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Roosevelt and the Loop.

10pm Sat to 9am Sun: Board/exit all trains on the Forest Park-bound side of the platform at the Harlem (Forest Park branch) station.

Trains in both directions will operate on the same track between Oak Park and Forest Park, resulting in minor delays.

Allow extra travel time.

#2 and #10 buses will resume their normal route on Balbo.

Between Michigan/Balbo and Roosevelt/Columbus, southbound buses will operate via Michigan and Roosevelt, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to summer events in Grant Park, including the Sueños Music Festival, the NASCAR Chicago Street Race, and Lollapalooza.

Westbound buses will begin their trips at Museum of Science and Industry West Parking Lot, operate via Cornell and 57th to Hyde Park Boulevard, then resume their normal route on Hyde Park Boulevard.
